The first mystery relates to the adoration of Christ by the three Magi Kings of the East who had found the Infant Jesus by following a star. They brought gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. The second epiphany occurred during Jesus’ baptism in the river Jordan, with the voice of the Lord heard above the waters saying “This is my beloved son, in whom I am well pleased”. Finally, the third was during the wedding feast at Cana where Jesus performed his first miracle to turn water into wine. This weekend, let us remember these three miracles as the Lord’s manifestation to the whole world, renewing our faith and commitment to follow Jesus.
