On 23rd March morning, after Mass and breakfast fellowship, 15 CDM Catholic Watchmen along with its Spiritual Director, Father RV, went to Canossaville Preschool on an “Act of Love” as part of their collective Lenten preparation. CPS welcomes and cares for children of different races, and religions. They also specialise in supporting children with hearing loss.
Armed with ladders, rags, pails and non-toxic cleaning solution, Fr RV and the men cleaned over 50 wall-mounted fans and all glass doors and windows in the areas where the children learn, eat and play.
This is what everyone at Canossaville Preschool has to say:
“Many hands make light work. What would normally require at least 2 days to complete was done by the group in two hours. The children, teachers and staff are grateful for the group’s effort in helping us clean the environment for our children aged 18 months to 6 years. You have led by example for our children to follow; the spirit of Lent, to do charity by helping others. The little ones, their teachers and all staff at school will do their part in the return of the kindness so graciously bestowed by praying for the well-being of the CDM Catholic Watchmen and their families.”
“THANK YOU CATHOLIC WATCHMEN; for watching out for us at CPS!”
