About the Legion of Mary
The Legion of Mary (Latin: Legio Mariae) is an international association of the faithful of the Catholic Church who serve the Church on a voluntary basis. It was founded in Dublin, Ireland, as a Roman Catholic Marian Movement by layman Frank Duff. Our parish Legion of Mary was set up in June 2013.
What does the Legion of Mary do?
Some of the active works include visitations of sick or aged, group rosary, contact work / crowd contact evangelizing through our actions / way of living and giving listening ear as well as supporting the parish priest. The Legion is, in essence, an extension of the heart and hands of the parish priest.
