The CDM Lector Ministry is blessed with two Voice and Proclamation trainers namely Christina Tan and Louisa G H Ong, who in the month of August 2016 have contributed to enriching and developing skills in conveying God’s Word. The topics covered include Mindset, Preparation, Microphone usage, Announcement/Closing Line, Pronunciation, Articulation (Enunciation), Rate, Volume, Pausing, Action Words, Eye Contact, Body Language etc . Both Christina and Louisa are experienced lectors themselves; and 1-on-1 guidance provided to both new and active local lectors was very well received. Lectors from East Parishes also attended some of the trainings and gained a new perspective on common mistakes, proclamation points to note and how to better reach out to the congregation.
